Window boxes for flowers can be used all year round. Plastic and artificial poinsettias can be put in them for the Christmas season to add color to the outside of your house. Why just keep color inside the house? Show your artistic talents outside with the different holidays that come in cold weather (Easter often comes while there's still snow on the ground).
